My Sony KP-61v90 has just stop showing the picture from the cable input. I can hear sound but I don't get any picture. I can see video from the video inputs but nothing from the cable port. What could be the problem?

This set should have 2 RF inputs. Try hooking up to the B input and program the tuner again...
Let me know how that works for you.... Sincerely HDTV GURU JAY

My sony kp-61v90 tv picture went out but still has sound video 1 dis play is slanted and volume display is also out of shape.how do i fix this?

Hello, It sounds like the deflection circuit is faulty. Usually, but not always caused by a problem with the switch mode power supply. It could be as simple as a capacitor or zener diode. Either way unless you are a technician I would get one to help you. Shouldnt cost any more than around $100-$180. As far as the pix goes, that sounds like the lamp they use to project images, around $400 fitted. Hope that helps.

KP-53HS10 Real HD

On this TV there is only one input for any HD resolution. Input # 5 is the component input i.e. red/green/blue cable. Just get the correct cable and match colors from cable box to TV this will allow the TV to display 1080i resolution ( only one this TV supports ). FYI you will also have to connect the red and white cables to the appropriate inputs to get any sound because red/green/blue connectors are just for video display not sound. Once your connected you'll be able to access video # 5 be sure to set your cable box to 1080i resolution also. I hope this helps later J.

High definition comes in a few different formats. For your Sony TV the high definition format you can use is COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT (Y/PB/PR).
