You use a VERY long phillips screwdriver as there are screws in those deep wells from the back. I think it takes a #3 phillips and you want one with at least a 12 inch shaft to reach the screws. The screws are black and are Kaylon or sheet metal types with pan heads. It can be a little tricky to engage the screwdriver bit as deep as these are.
Make sure ALL screws are completely out... count them vs the number of wells... there are a lot!
Then you have to pry the back off.
