Hi,i have a Philips lcd 37 pf 7320a.It has the error code 14.The audio supplies problem.Does anyone have a real solution to this and dont say replace the power board. That sounds too much like Philips and they are a joke.Someone has had to figure out whats causing this problem.I have a service manual.I got it for free at www.elektrotanya.com .It says overcurrent at resistor 3a95 and then check the audio board.Whats causing the overcurrent? There has to be a individual component that is flawed. The capacitors were checked with a ESR meter.Google this tv and you will see the many people that have this problem, just no real solution then to shell out 200.00 for a board, and more than likely the fix is less than 20.00.

Hi,the solution is replacing resistor 3318 and MP34067P"semiconductor"on power board.Total cost 4.50 in parts. Its not the audio board. You will have to use MP34067PG instead of the original. Its the green non lead version.I have to say this is a awesome tv,when the bugs are worked out.

SOURCE: Need info on component 3071 on power supply board - burned up.

Its been a while since i worked on that power board. But I believe you are refering to the orange diode that runs into the single connector for the video board next to the power supply. I replaced mine with a 1n914 diode after replacing the 2200uf lytic cap and the tv fired right up.

TV wont power on. Upon starting green light on front of display switches to flashing red. I have already unplugged power and tried again

This should be an error code 14. Most of the Philips TVs with this code means the Audio is the problem.
The Audio board maybe shorted out causing the TV to go into "Protection Mode". I would try unplugging the Audio board from the main power supply board and main mother board to see if the TV powers up without going into Protection Mode. That should give an answer if the Audio board is bad or not.

My philips tv flat screen keeps shutting off and a red flashing code starts blinking?

Not sure what code since you didn't say, but here is the code breakdown.

When the TV does this, the RED LED on the front will blink. For digits 1-10 it will blink pause then repeat. For numbers with 2 digits it will blink the first digit slow and then second digit fast. So 25 would be 2 slow blinks followed by 5 fast blinks.

Philips 37PF7320A/37 won't turn on. Error code 14

I have the model Philips 37PF7320A/37 won't turn on and MOST articles on the Internet say it's the Capacitors capictors capictors..I checked all of them. My tv just blinked red lights, had the clicking sound at first power on, but then goes black. No sound. No picture. Nothing. Just blinking red lights. MINE WAS RESISTOR no. 3318 , a 100 OHM RESISTOR ON POWER SUPPLY BOARD. I BOUGHT REPLACEMENT FOR .99 CENTS SOLDER IT, AND EVERYTHING WORKED!!! THAT WAS ALL IT TOOK. JUST A SUGGESTION.. 1. CHECK FOR BULGING CAPACITORS (90 PERCENT OF THE PROBLEM) 2. THEN CHECK FOR RESISTORS WITH MULTIMETER ( FALLS INTO THE OTHER 10 PERCENT OF THE PROBLEM.) TELL ME IF THAT [email protected]

Philips 37pf9631d/37

The TV is in some kind of protection mode, the blinking LED show you an error code.
Try pressing 062596 and then press menu button (do these in quick motion, don't let them to time out while keying)...see what happens
Well I think that if you would have a service manual for this set that would help a lot, I can send it to anyone who wants it via email/gmail. Let me know if anyone want one.

I also heard that this problem appeared with some people because the of the burnt fuse in the TV. To fix that it has to be taken to the tech shop. mecry.gif

And yes I also heard about this issue many times, seems like this TV set is very popular with this kind of problem.
