Trying to install new stereo, wiring colors dont match checked for diagram and need correct diagram stereo dosnt work

Radio wiring

if you are going to install an aftermarket stereo then you can go to your local walmart or look online for a wiring adapter that matches your year make and model hen simply match the wires of the new harness to the wires of the new stereo and plug it in. if you are doing something else ill need more details.

NEED WIRING DIAGRAM

If you are referring to installation and have the aftermarket wiring harness, The wires should be color coded. RED, YELLOW, & BLACK are power, ignition and ground. These should correspond to matching wires on the back of the head unit (CD player). Match the colored wires from the back of the unit to the same colored wires on the aftermarket harness and then connect them using wire connectors/wire nuts. Once you have them into the correct order the aftermarket harness should connect into the harness in your vehicle. I hope this answers your question =)

Stereo wiring diagram for 91 rodeo

i you need is the wiring harnest from walmart, wire up the same colors on back of the head unit to the new harnest, then slap the new harnest to the factory harnest DONT CUT THE FACTORY HARNEST, WILL CAUSE YOU A BIG HEAD ACHE but crutchfield gives out free step by step diagrams

Have you measured the 12v ignition and permanent supply?
Also check the earth.
You will need a tester for this.
