Hi

1. Make sure the printer is powered on, and not printing.
2. Open the printer cover.
3. Do one of the following:

3a. If the red error light is on (cartridge is empty) press the MAINTENANCE BUTTON.
3b. If the red error light is flashing (cartridge is low) press the MAINTENANCE BUTTON. You will now see the Cartridge Replacement highlighted in Advanced Settings. Select OK.
3c. If the error light is off (outdated cartridge), press the DOWN ARROW MENU button to choose MORE OPTIONS. Press OK, then select INK CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT.

4. You will now see a message on the display telling you that the ink cartridge replacement will begin. Press OK to continue. The print head will move to the replacement position.
5. Open the cartridge cover. Press in the tab on the back of the cartridge, and lift the cartridge out of the printer. Dispose of it carefully.
6. Unwrap the new ink cartridge. DO NOT touch the green circuit boards, or remove ANY labels.
7. Lower the cartridge into the holder, with the green circuit board facing the front. Gently push the cartridge down until it is firmly seated.
8. If you need to replace another ink cartridge, repeat steps 5-7 above.
9. Close the cartridge cover. Press the front corner of the cartridge cover forward to lock the cover into place.
10. Press OK, and close the printer cover. The printer will begin charging the ink delivery system. Once charging is complete, press OK to finish.

Replacing cartdiges in sx 200 epaon

Press the ink button on the control panel repeatedly. This will work if at least one cartridge is completely out. With the scanner unit open, then the first press of the ink button will move the cartridge carrier to line up the empty cartridge with an "empty cartridge" mark on the printer. Each subsequent press will cause the next empty cartridge to line up with the mark. Once all of the empty cartridges have been indicated, the next press of the ink button will bring the cartridges into the replacement position.

If you want to change a cartridge when none are empty, you need to enter the Epson Toolbox (with the printer in a Ready state - scanner unit closed, etc). Then use the software to set the printer to change the ink cartridges. When prompted by the software, open the scanner unit and follow the directions for changing the ink cartridges.

If the cartridge carrier isn't moving when you press the ink button, look for anything blocking the path of the carrier. Even small pieces of paper could stop the mechanism. Use a flashlight to check the corners. (You may want to unplug the printer and try moving the cartridge carrier by hand to check below it.) Some models have the cartridge carrier run on a plastic strip that can come out of the guide on the back. Move the strip back and up and down until it is repositioned.

I hope this helps.

How do I change the cartridge

  • Turn on your printer and lift the access door. The print carriage will move to the center.

  • Once the print carriage has stopped moving, remove the empty cartridge by pushing down on it and pulling it towards you.
  • Remove the replacement cartridge from its packaging. Peel the pink tape away from the bottom while holding the cartridge by the sides.
  • Hold the replacement cartridge with the label on the top. Slide cartridge into the appropriate slot. Insert cartridge at a slight angle, then apply pressure until it snaps into place.
    • Close the print carriage access door.
    • Align the printer if it prompts you and if not just align it manually

How to removecartgage from epson 110 pl show pictures

The Epson Stylus C110 is a stylish-looking color printer with a black body. The top of the unit has a glossy piano finish, which gives it a touch of class. The Stylus C110 weighs in at 3.9 Kg, leaves a footprint of 43.5 cm x 24 cm and stands only 16.1 cm tall. It may not be the smallest ever, but it's definitely smaller than many printers out in the market.

The top cover opens up to reveal the cartridge bay, where you can access the cartridges when you need to change them.

    90666_cartridges.jpg

As you may be able to see above, there are actually five cartridges in this printer. This is quite unusual, because in addition to the three color cartridges, there are two black cartridges instead of one. This is a clever move and is actually useful when you use this printer in office. When one black cartridge gets empty, the other one takes over and gives you time to replace the empty one with no downtime, thus leaving productivity unaffected. Also, since it uses individual ink cartridges, you save money because you only have to replace the empty cartridge. This printer is based on piezoelectric technology, which relies on ink being pumped out onto the paper by piezoelectric crystals that change shape when an electric charge is applied.

    Hi Good day!!!
to change your ink cartridges follow this steps
    1. Switch on your printer by pressing the power button.
    2. Open the cartridge access door and wait for the cartridge carrier to move to the middle.
    3. Press the tab in front of the empty ink cartridge and remove it from the slot.
    4. Remove the plastic wrapping from the replacement ink cartridge and take off the orange tab. To do this, carefully twist the tab and snap it off.
    5. Place the new cartridge into the slot you removed the old cartridge from; then push it down until it clicks into place. The label must be on top of the cartridge, and the plastic tab should be at the back.

    1. Prepare the replacement cartridge by pressing down and back on the top of the protective plastic, then sliding the cartridge out.
    2. Set both the cartridge and empty cartridge protector aside.

I have replaced all the ink cartridges and my printer says "no cartridge, open scanner cover"

It is probably best to replace cartridges individually as necessary. Let me explain. The printer display will tell you when a cartridge is "xx near empty" and when "xx empty" (where xx is the cartridge color).

    1) Near Empty - you can continue to print. This message is to remind you to get a new "xx" cartridge and have it on hand.

Replacing the cartridge when "Near empty" will cause the machine to report "xx Empty" when it is not. It will not register that you have replaced it at "Near empty." Wait to replace the cartridge when you get the "xx empty" message.

    2) XX Empty - you may not be able to continue printing. Replace cartridge "xx" now per your manual.

If you have replaced or reseated more than one cartridge, and you get the "no cartridge" error, you need to find out which one the machine "thinks" is problematic:

    1) With the scanner cover open and locked in the "Up" position, the message may change to "Change cartridge, install xx" (xx refers to the color )

    2) After changing the suspected cartridge and closing the scanner cover, be sure to notice the display. It will say, "Changed XX? 1. Yes 2. No" Press 1.

If all this explanation does not work, keep it in mind for next time. Brother says to unplug the machine for at least 10 seconds, then plug it in again. If the display shows the date and time, problem solved. If not, you may need to contact brother support.
