Hi I have a fisher and paykel IW812 washing machine which keeps overflowing and comes up with a message on screen Help, I am not getting any water.... whilst it continues filling and overflowing... Do you know what causes this as it is not happening on everyload.

Hi there. FC 49 has a few possiblities
1. the wiring connection to the cold water valve has been disconnected
2.the cold valve has failed, compare resistance with hot valve (they should be the same)
3 the motor controller has failed

It sounds like you have a leaky inlet valve assembly. The part number is 421029P and is easy to replace. You can get one here:

Yep it sounds like another electronics panel has failed.
We never had this much trouble in the old days with the old electric timer machines.

If the water continues to fill even if unplugged the water valve is sticking and needs replaced. if removing power turns the water off the water level pressure switch is bad or there is something plugging the sensor tube somewhere.
