My darling granddaughter decided to poke in both (not just one) of the dome tweeters on my AVF302 speakers. They still work but are seriously nasty looking. Can I get replacements?
I know this sounds silly, but I had the same problem. Your speakers have a little plastic bulb that has been pushed in, right?
If so, simply put your mouth up to the tweeter, seal with your lips and **** gently (seriously). The tweeter dome should pop back out and in to shape.
It worked for me.
Good luck.

However they will not send to New Zealand
Thanks for the suggestion but there were nasty straight lines that would not come out. I have finally sourced replacements.
Once I got the replacements I could experiment with the old tweeters. I seperated the metal dome from the magnet and discovered that the clearance between the magnet and the dome coil was not as critical as I thought it would be. I used a pencil with an attached rubber to gently push the dome back into shape. The dome being much like a thick tinfoil responded well to my finger nail rubbing it gently and repeatedly to take out all the sharp lines. I was amazed to find that eventually I could make the tweeters look almost perfect again and even more amazed that once reassembled they worked fine. I am sure that they would probably not be measured as being back to full spec but they sounded fine to me. So now I have two spares in case this happens again.
