I have a GE Model DSXH47EGWW dryer that is 3 years old. It has recently started beeping when the dryer is off. Three lights come on and it beeps twice, and the lights stay on. I push the pause/cancel button, which turns it off, but it starts again momentarily. Is there an easy fix for this problem?

how many times is it beeping and do you have any error codes or flashing lights when this is doing this? first thing that you should do is assure that you have 110 comeing in from both sides of the outlet and also assure that the connections you made when you hooked up the new plug are tight and in the right positions as well I await your reply Thanks Rick
p.s on some units the amount of times the unit beeps gives which error the unit is showing as a fault along with any flashing lights
