I have a toshiba satilite latop and want to connect it to my sony bravia tv to view my photos. It has a PC socket at the back with both a one pin and a 15 pin socket. What lead do I need? and will my sony already be tuned to receive info from my laptop once connected? There seems to be a PC channel set up. Thanks Wendy

Normally all one has to do is use a 15pin VGA lead to connect the laptop to the TV socket, select PC on the TV and that should be that. There may be problems if your laptop in a MAC and if the resolutions do not match.

What's your problem?how do i view pictures from my panasonic lumix camera on my sony bravia klm ex500 tv

You need to copy the photos from your camera to an USB memory stick and then plug the USB memory stick into the USB port on the TV.
Then press Menu button on your remote and select Photo and it will then connect the USB memory stick and display your photos.

I have a Samsung N210 plus netbook, how do I connect it to my Sony Bravia TV please? I do not have a HDMI cable just a Monitor cable!

Hi there,

If your TV is the KDL-40S2000 as listed above then you will have a PC monitor socket on the back of your TV (outlined in red):

To connect to your PC:

1. Switch the TV to STANDBY or OFF
2. Connect one end of the monitor cable to your TV and the other to your Netbook
3. Switch on the TV - and startup the Netbook
4. Switch the TV to the PC input mode . . .

I have a Sony Bravia KDLV4000 and am trying to connect my laptop. I have bought a cable and am able to view the picture on the screen throught the 'PC' setting on the tv but am unsure how to get the sound...

You will need a second cable from the headphone socket on the laptop to the audio in on the tv.if it doesn't have an audio in then you need a scart to 3.5mm stereo jack lead to hear sound.

Connecting Vostro 1400 to Sony Bravia BR6?

To properly drive your TV set, your computer will have to be able to supply 1366 x 768 with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

A resolution of 1280 X 800 is high. LCD and Plasma sets are very critical for the maximum resolution. You can go lower but not higher. If a lower than native resolution is used there may be some aspect ratio distortion, and the picture quality will be degraded.

There is a spec list at the link below:

Connecting a Toshiba lcd tv to a Sony Vaio VGC-LA3

you should have a (vga) tv-out socket usually blue with about 16 pins in it,if you have not which is unusual then refer to sony for the laptops specs and location of tv-out socket.
The Nvidia graphics card should have one I believe the Gforce go card is the one for your system unless upgraded and is advertised to support this function.

Toshiba HDTV + SONY PLAYSTATION 3 + SONY Home Theatre DAVHDX265

I have looked up the infomation on your TV I noticed that your TV has two HDMI input plugs. Since your SONY BRAVIA is hooked up to one port, you need to buy another HDMI cable for your PS3. On your tv remote you should have an option to switch from video 1 to video 2 so then you can switch from the SONY BRAVIA to the PS3 the problem is you will only hear your PS3 Sound from you TV. If you want to hear your PS3 sound from your SONY BRAVIA you need to buy an optical cable (also called TOSLINK) to connect from your PS3 to the SONY BRAVIA.

Hope that helps!
