We have a 25.4 cubic Whirlpool side-by-side fridge/freezer stainless steel look. Since the last 2 weeks....the display lights showing temperatures in fridge and freezer the front water/ice dispenser unit on the door has been flickering non-stop and making a clicking noise. It has now become very annoying. I don't think there has been any problems with the actual temperatures in the appliance....just the constant flickering on the front door display is the main problem.

The clicking is from the lamp relay which makes the lights flicker and its located on the units rear area in the back, without a model number i cant tell what this boards model number is but you need to replace this whole board as they are non repairable(this is usually caused by a power surge or outage, which can destroy these boards, also even if a lamp in the unit burns out this can destroy this board too)

There is a defrost problem. Ice builds up between the ref and frz sections and wont allow coolo air through. You can also check to see if the damper is stuck closed
