How do i connect aspire 5810t vista home pre 64b laptop to samsung lcd hdtv via hdmi

it is the problem with the hdmi cable .. dont buy cheaper cables it may damage after some time

HDMI should transmit both Video and Audio. It's the best quality of all of the methods. Just make sure that you have your sound set to HD sound. You can do that by right-clicking your speaker icon at the bottom (by the time), and choosing Volume Control Options and make sure that Digital Audio (HDMI) is selected.

This would work for Windows 7 or Vista Operating Systems. XP is similar, but you will have to play around with.

I hook an HP to a Samsung HDTV in much the same way. Two things, if you connect to the monitor out on the laptop after it's already started up with Windows loaded, you will need to do a restart to activate the monitor out. You can leave TV on during this process. Second, be sure you have selected the correct input source on the TV. Mine actually has a PC input and that's how it reads when I select it via the TV's remote.

Something I've done since that you may want to consider is upgrading to a graphics card (via PCMCIA card or if daring enough you could try upgrading the internal mini-PCIe graphics assuming your PC is capable of that) that support DVI or HDMI out. This method is better if you intend to connect through a home theater or surround amp.

First off, is the tv set to use the hdmi input? if not, change tv to hdmi input and try again. If still no good, you likely need to tell the laptop to use the hdmi connector. Try this:

1. connect hdmi from laptop to tv and select hdmi input on tv.

1. while holding the blue fn key (bottom left side of kbd) press and release the F5 key. This will toggle the laptop between the laptop lcd display, external connectors (vga/hdmi), or both simultaneously. Let me know if this works or not.....

connect them via HDMI. Audio and video from your laptop will go the TV. You need an HDMI cable for that connection.

You cannot use the wireless N router for this. But you may use Warpia SWP100 Wireless PC to TV USB adapter HDMI/ VGA for the same purpose.

go into control pannel and acer hd set it there and also in sound, a wee bit of trial and error but its there. mine was the same, it cost me ouch on the phone! good luck mine works ok

Run a regular RCA type audio cable from your TV audio out to your Home Theatre audio in. That is what I have done recently with my Samsung LCD and Home Theater. You then have to put your Home Theater on Aux 1 or Aux 2 to get the sound from TV. Ensure your TV's volume is off.
