Take into account the room size, mounting wall placement size and most important the distance from where you watch to the TV. also consider where you place it when daylight comes in.
Like bedroom a 32" say, family room the farther you set from tv the larger the tv screen 42"good 60" great but only for larger rooms

I just read the manual for this TV. The initial password set at factory is 0000
If you changed it, you will have to remember what you changed it to, because the menus do have a factory reset option, but it will not reset the password.
the unit is ok. User manual on page 42 says that the digital sources can not be output trough multisource output. Try to use VCR-1 VCR-2 audio output jacks instead.
