Microsaft mouse stopped working - Acer Computers & Internet

please chaeck the mouse pad lock mode or any light is glowing on top of the mouse touch pad?

the gear head wireless mouse i purchase for my netbook, does not work

Remove the battery of the mouse and install new one and then press connect button from the mouse side and the receiver side also.

If you have tried the mouse on other computers and there is no light on the mouse it is not getting any power. Possible problems are:

1) The USB connector is bad or the cable to the mouse has a bad wire.
2) A wire inside the mouse has become disconnected.
3) The mouse itself is just bad.

they probably dont have the driver avail yet go to the microsaft support site or call them and find out

two thing with this mouse
1. Flashing red usually means its not connecting to the base
2. rare case the mouse has gone bad needs replacement

your mouse laser is damaged. please replace your mouse.

Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver burron and then press the button on the mouse. This should be fdone when ever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

I would get a new mouse. Sounds like there is an issue with the usb connector.
