I clean the washer once a month with bleach and it still smells. I have mold growing on the top of the inside of the soap dispenser. I've tried qtips dipped in clorox but i can't get it all. This machine is high maintence which no one told you about when we bought it.
Hi
Try using bleach with hot water, run a cycle with hot water and bleach. Or spray bleach +water mixture on the seal. Run a cleaning cycle with hot water and bleach or vinegar at least once a month to reduce the growth of mold in other parts of the washer. You can also try using 1/2 a cup of Washing Soda or 4 cups of baking soda Crystals and run the machine with no clothes in it. This would remove all the debris, lint & mold growth from the drain pump and drain filter. This would clean the mold from the door seal as well. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Absolutely agree!!!! Everytime I call the warranty department to come and check my smelly washer, they accuse me of using the wrong soap or tell me that I'm not cleaning it enough.............I was never told that my "top of the line" washer would require round the clock care!!! I've had it!!
My washer also often smells-I have looked through the manual, but I don't see what else should be periodically cleaned. (I periodically take out and clean the dispenser and also clean out the area underneath the rubber door gasket.) I also bleach it often, but it just seems like there is something somewhere I am missing.
