The washer wont spin - Hoover H130E Front Load Washer

what is the model number and the brand name?most likely you have a bad lid switch.it's a saftey on most washers,the factory doesn't want the washer to run when it's in spin so if you were to open the lid while it was spinning the washer would shut down,if the lid switch is broke it's like the lid is open and it won't spin or run

it sounds to me like your motor is defective, maybe, just the start switch, but best to replace motor...Bruce

Hi, Do you know if the washer agitated at all? If the washer does not agitate or spin, the coupler is most likely the cause. If the washer agitates and does not spin, it could be spin basket drive or transmission.

Set the timer for manually for the spin cycle and trun it on.
If it does not spin replace the lid switch.

Your symptoms that indicates a broken motor coupler. If your washer will drain and fill but has not agitation action or spinning action that would indicate a broken motor coupler. The motor coupler links the drive motor to the transmission.

it must drain before it will spin.if water is standing in it .remove power take off frount panel.remove screws that keep pump onthe washer move towards bucket and open pump and clean out.God bless tom

check the pump ,,, if pump wont pump out the washer wont spin till it gets down so low / larryyb
