Look at the region code of the DVD that plays on the vehicle DVD if it is the same of the others that do play it's not a region code issue. If the others are a different region to the DVD that plays or the disc says it is region free. Then you might have a problem with the region code settings on the machine. You can look up the model number of that player to see if you can change the region code.
Otherwise check out the player to see if it needs cleaning or is faulty.
If you suffer from region code troubles, you can download a region free DVD player software tool on your pc and then you can play discs of any regions you want. You can try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is a free Blu-ray player and a region free player.
You have probably used up all your region changes. These are limited for copyright reasons.
Download Anydvd from Slysoft.com
This will run your dvds as "region free"
Burn them with Dvdshrink

DVDs are ecoded with region codes to indicate what area of the world they are made for. These codes may be 1,2,3, etc depending on which region they are made for.
DVD player read these codes and if the disc region code does not match the region the device is made for, the player will not play the disc.
Region 1 is for USA so most DVDp players made for use in USA require region 1 discs.
Some DVD players called multi region DVD players can be set to play different region DVDs but they are typically more expr=ensive then one region players and the code must be changed each time a different region disc is played.
you can only change ur region codes a few times then ur drive becomes locked to the last reset.then youll need to reflash ur drive with firmware.theres a program u can get(free)called any dvd which gets around region codes.
I personally would reflash firmware.this sets drive to "0" which is all regions.
simple precedure.locate firmware,download it,write it to a cd,insert cd which then reflashes auto.remove cd.
