Apparently, you can stick foam pool noodles under the deflating ring and prop it up overnight. You'll still have to reinflate the ring daily but at least you won't loose water every night!

To be honest, ive seen 20-30 customers come to my company looking to fix this same problem. Weve tried vinyl patch after vinyl patch, and several different cement fixes. Nothing works.
The best results ive had are with a simple vinyl liner repair kit.
The most important thing is to let it sit for 48 hours before reinflating, but even this fix was only temporary.

Long story short, you get what you pay for, and intex is the cheapest pool systems on the market for a reason. The air ring always starts to leak right after the warranties are up, and the Intex company just plain out doesnt care.

Wish I had better news.

Intex plunger valve leaking

Probably just an O-ring. I don't know if you can get a rebuild kit for this valve, or you might be able to just find O- rings that fit.

Hello I have i 18 foot by for foot deep above ground pool with the blow up ring. It is about 3 inches lower on one side. Well we got in it today with no problems of water coming over the ring. Well ...

above ground pools have to be erected on perfectly level ground. If you have one side 3 inches lower than the other then all the weight of the water is against that lower side and eventually the water will overcome the air pressure in the ring and it will collapse and let the water out especially if the ring has a small air leak and looses pressure. You are lucky that you do not have a pool with 4ft sides as the loosing water effect is remarkable and will wash away any thing in it's way. Use the water in the pool as a level and adjust the base ground so that the pool sits level all the way around.

I noticed my pool was leaking air. I opened the upper ring blow up valve and there is hole inside of it. Can this be repaired? I would hate to get rid of my pool just because the air valve has a hole...

Take a 12 X 12 piece of plastic wrap, wet the pool ring, slide the plastic sheet along until you see the air bubble appear, mark leak with marker pen. Use repair patch. I swear this is better than soapy water!

How do you fix a leak to a 15x48 swimming pool without emptying all the water? it's a small leak on a seam near the ground.pool has been up a week & no leak, until tonight?

They make underwater patch kits that are very simple to use. You cut a patch and apply glue, fold the patch in half with the glue faceing in. take it to the leak and slowley unfold against the hole. smooth out and make sure edges are sealed down. Keep pressure on the patch as instructed on package. Then let cure. Good luck.

The top ring on my easy set pool leaks air. How

I suppose the pool is already full of water. You could remove some of the water, then use soapy water and a paint brush to find the leak. Bubble blowing liquid is ideal for this. This will be easier on the the outside than on the inside. Once found, you may be able to fix with duct tape. But they sell repair kits that probably work better. Don't use a tire or bike tube patch - those are for rubber. I hope this helps you, and I hope the kids have fun in the pool this summer! Al K

Top Inflatable Ring on Intex Pool Leaks

Soapy water never worked for me... Pour kids bubbles into a bowl and use a paint brush to spread the bubbles on the top ring. If there is a hole you'll see it begin to blow a bubble where the hole is.  patch with vinyl repair kit.
