From what your describing sounds like its 1 of 3 things,
firstly, take the paper out and let it warm up in a light cupboard or under a florsecent light, let it heat up a bit and then replace it in the printer. try printing now and more than likely it will print. Reason being is that the paper has moisture build up on it, keeping new paper in a warm dry place will help with this. If this wasn't your problem then lets try the next thing.
purchase and replace the platen roller, more than likely part of the roller is damaged (the part that your text label falls on, replace it. you can also redesign the lablel so it falls on another part of the label.
