Washing machine is connected with water intake, but when i start the machine, no water is drawn into the machine

The fill valve could be defective.

that's the water solenoid fill valve, in the wash cycle the fill water is selected to flow through the detergent drawer, (so the detergent is drawn in) if the solenoid is broken it only works for some parts of the cycle (like your issue).


I've had this issue on my own machine, and fixed it myself. it should be as easy as removing a couple of screws to remove the top plate on the machine, then the solenoid is right on top, at the rear of the machine (behind the detergent drawer) just undo some hose clamps and a couple of spade connected or clip connected wires (that drive the solenoid) and replace with a new module.

If the drain pump is faulty and you are unable to pump the water out of the tub, simply take the drain hose and lower it into a container to catch the water which will be drawn out by gravity.
If this fails, check the drain hose for foreign materials clogging it.

I suggest that if the machine does have a hot fill intake that you connect this because this will insure long life to the electric element you will be saving money as you already have hot water and this might rectify the problem

in this case, do the following test. Since the machine starts to fill water a little pull out dispenser drawer and make sure water intake to softener compartment. There is possible 2 failures. First, clogged the holes for intake water above softener compartment and water doesn't intake to softener compartment. Second, faulty water dispenser so water intake to the pre-wash or wash compartment.

Assuming tap water is turned on. If there is no water intake, the machine will not start. Check for the sound of water pouring in the machine. Check the water inlet filter, if it is jammed with foreign materials such as rust deposits, small stones, soil etc. Then check for the proper functioning of inlet water solenoid valve. Sometimes the valve gets stuck.

the h2o message means the machine isn't getting enough water. check pressure and water intake pipe.

I had the same problem with my unit. The manual tells you to disconnect the water intake at the machine and clean the screen. This wasn't my problem because as you said the problem doesn't occur until the Rinse cycle which means there is water supply to start the Wash cycle.

From the back of the unit, remove the three screws and take of the lid. You'll notice that there are three separate motors do pump water inside the machine at the water intake. When standing in front of the machine, the motor on the right controls the rinse cycle. I connected an AC volt meter to that pump and started the rinse cycle. 240v showed up at the pump, but the water flow was poor. I simply squished up and down the rubber hose connecting this motor to the detergent unit and was unable to free the clog and water began to flow.
