WATER WONT RUN - Kenmore 15944 Top Load Washer

If the latch is not locking the unit will not operate

Does it run through cycles without filing or does it do nothing? If nothing lilely the timer otherwise the water fill valve id defective

there are a variety of causes for this. any one of the safety systems may have detected a fault and thus wont let the heater run. if there is no electricity, the heater wont run. if there is insufficient water flow, the heater wont run.

Does the water run if you push the timer dial in to stop the cycle or does it run even if you unplug the washer?

make sure it is connected to the hot water line, run the hot water in the sink and after hot turn on d/w and make sure it also gets hot. there should be a water line connection from the hot water line normally under the sink and lead to the d/w. should be around 140 degrees

You mean Run IN dont you?

Water valve faulty.....replace.

start draining fluids before the gears and brgs rust

was there water in the gas?

Wont turn over are you sure as wont start is differant than wont run
Wont start could be Battery/starter/or engine siezed.
Wont run is not the same,,, that could be lacking power /low on oil/water/ Fuel/or even engine lacking power like down on compression which is all the above plus more ....
So check it out let us know again. Ron

Check all your hoses and make sure that they are not blocked and everything can run freely through your sstem
