I bought a Samsung GT-B3410r mobile phone. I have tried to add new ringtones to the phone, including using a ringtone convertor, but the phone never recognizes any of the different formats to allow me to change the phone's ringtones. It will only let me use them as alarm and message tones. How can I add new ringtones to this phone?

How to download mp3 ringtones for nokia 1280

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Well Nokia 1280 contains, Factory Programmed Mp3 Graded Ringtones, you can't add new mp3 ringtones to the mobile. You can compose some Midi tones using the composer provided in the mobile... No mp3 ringtone can be added to the mobile phone at user end.

Concerned.

Downloading

Your computer is full of potential free ringtones for your Samsung T229 (also known as Samsung SGH-t229, T-mobile t229) :
By Bluetooth:
The Samsung t229 is Bluetooth-enabled. Bluetooth is a wireless system which lets you connect your cell phone to computers, headsets, car kits, etc. If your computer is also Bluetooth-enabled, simply establish a connection between both devices and transfer your music files from your computer to your Samsung t229.
Simply record sound directly:
Since your Samsung t229 has a sound recorder (also known as "voice memo"), a very simple technique involves simply placing your phone near your computer's speakers, playing whatever music or sound you would like as a ringtone, and recording it -- you can even use your voice, your child's voice or even your cat's "meow!" Record it with your mobile and there you go! Unless that function was specifically blocked on the Samsung t229, you should be able to navigate to the ringtones section and choose your new recording as a ringtone. Of course, the quality will not be ideal but, after all, it's free!

Downloading using the phone
NOTE: MegaTones, HiFi Ringers, and Voices & Sounds are stored at Menu > Fun & Apps > Files > Sounds > Sounds. To download using the phone, perform the following steps: 1. Scroll to and select the desired tone. 6. On the preview page, select ACCEPT. 7. After the tone downloads, select Play to preview the tone. 8. Select Set as. 9. Select one of the following options:
  • myFaves ringtone: To set as a myFaves® ringtone. Scroll to and select the desired myFaves contact.

  • Caller ringtone: To set as a caller ringtone. Scroll to and select the desired contact.
  • Alarm tone: To set as an alarm tone. Scroll to and select the desired alarm. Turn on the alarm and select the desired time and date.

I bought samsung s3310 but my mobile is not connecting with pc by data cable. with mobile I haven't got any cd.

All you need to do is go to settings -> phone settings -> PC connections -> select mass storage and save......... Now when you connect the phone to your pc via the data cable, all the necessary installations of usb drivers and such things will complete automatically. You dont need to install any softwares manually. All the installation will occur instantly after you connect (setting of mass storage is very important). The Next Time you connect your mobile to your PC, the memory card on your phone will just act like a pen drive.................... ( I dot use any softwares like samsung pc studio or anything)

Iphone ringtone wont play

I had the same problem. I hooked my phone back up to iTunes and synced my phone. Ringtone disappeared from phone, but remained in my computer's iTunes. Then I added it back to my phone through iTunes by syncing ringtones specifically. Here is step by step:
1. Plug in iPhone 2. Sync Phone 3. Click on iPhone, open Ringtones tab 4. Check "Sync ringtones" box and Select your Ringtone 5. Click Sync
This worked for my phone. Hope it helps. I used my phone to download ringtone.
