Hi there, if in case on your TV that the fuse is needed to solder out before it can be removed, yes you need to solder it out. But if it has this fuse terminals that you only need to tap it out better if thats the case. Some TV has this fuse terminal for easy access in replacing the fuse. if still needed to solder the fuse I suggest that do a little rewiring and put a fuse holder if available, if just solder the new fuse as is the same as the old one. hope this help, please rate and vote. good day
