This problem lies in your cable remote. Try pressing the satellite or cable button on the remote given to you from your provider and try to bring up the guide again. If it doesn't work, contact tech support from your provider and have them walk you through configuring the remote.

How do I set up caller Id on my hisense tv thru at&t cable source?

Hello, Karen -

I hope I am correct in assuming the AT&T cable remote control is already synced with your TV.

Also, I hope you are asking about a landline phone with AT&T as the service provider.

If so . . .

With your AT&T remote control, press MENU.

You then should see a side bar with a list starting with GUIDE.

Press 9-8-0-0. which should bring you to the guide listing for PHONE SERVICES. Press OK.

On the PHONE SERVICES screen press OK

Your land line phone number should be listed on the PHONE SERVICES MAIN MENU screen,

One choice on the PHONE SERVICE MAIN MENU will be one for SETTINGS. Move down to highlight CHANGE SETTINGS FOR MESSAGE INDICATOR AND CALLER ID DISPLAY. Press OK.

Follow the on-screen directions to select DISLAY MESSAGE INDICATOR and be sure to choose DONE to save the setting,

After saving the CALLER ID setting, just press the EXIT button on the AT&T remote control and then choose to power the remote control and TV off or choose a channel you wish to watch.

Best wishes,

Xfinity xr2 remote button and guide button does not bring up the main menu or guide

Try by set it with an other code said to your TV brand. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Can i program lg magic remote to work with direct tv box

If your LG TV came with the IR blaster cable you will need to set one of the sensors in front of the sensor on your DirecTV box. Then go to your TV setting and select Video Input and Select the Input Port that your DirecTV box is hooked to. (In my case HDMI1). Then you will select that you are trying to sync your Service Provider and it will give you a list of device manufacturers. Select DirecTV limited and it will start to give you codes to try. You test these by trying the channel button up or down. If the channel changes you have found your code and you will click on "Yes" and you are ready to control. The "Guide" button will now bring up the DirecTV Guide and you no longer need the DirecTV remote.

Remote up & down channel buttons will only bring up a few channels. Cannot go through all channels unless I punch in digits on remote

Which Dish model receiver and remote? You likely have a custom guide selected that only includes those channels. On most models, press guide twice and select a different guide or press Favorites to Modify List of the channels in the current guide. If in doubt select All Sub or All Channels to see more/too many channels with up/down. I use All HD for seeing the high-def channels. Otherwise I use a custom list to see a bigger listing. -Ken

TV Guide on screen not loading schedule

I'm afraid this will no longer work... With the change to all digital, the TVGOS in your set will no longer work. I have the same set, same problem and spoke directly with a Toshiba tech. Bummer, I have the Symbio DVR and it won't work now either.

Not receiving guide plus + tv listing -no problem until 2 weeks

I called TimeWarner Cable tech support, and the solution is to unplug the power to the box, after 1 min plug back in, let the box reboot, and PRESTO, this time around, the guide should be working.
Note--this is a solution for the problem of online guide that is showing No Data in the boxes, but is bringing up the grid of times/channels/date.
If you can't get the Guide at all, I don't know if this solution works.
Good luck.
