If that monitor is working with other computers, there might be a problem with the graphics card of the original computer. Try replacing the graphics card of that computer

Problems with vga

Either the monitor or the Video Card is bad. To isolate the problem try another monitor on the computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and plug it into the computer. If the borrowed monitor displays and does ok, then your original monitor is bad. If the borrowed monitor does not display anything like your original monitor then the video card inside the computer is bad.

Dell dimension 9200 no display

Try another monitor and see if you get a display. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker. If the borrowed monitor does the same thing and shows no display, then your video card in the computer is bad. If the borrowed monitor displays things, then your original monitor is bad.

E machine model T3626 turns on display doesnt work and doesnt power off???

Sounds like either the Monitor is bad or the Video Card is bad. Try plugging another monitor on the computer and if it can't show a display then more than likely the Video Card is bad. If it shows on the monitor you just plugged in, then the original monitor is bad.

Monitor does not work, computer starts up, dell prompts load, windows prompts load then screen goes black. i can hear everything loading but no display.

connect an external monitor on your machine and check if display is ok on the external monitor. if yes, try to re-install your video driver and check if display is ok on your laptop.

if both doesnt have display (external monitor and laptop's display) i suspected your lcd display is faulty.

Dell Monitor goes blank, green light still on.

Have you tried connecting that monitor to another PC. It sounds like you may have a problem with the monitor itself (component failure, heat problem, etc)
