Press start button, fan trys to start, green light comes on then changes to a red flashing light

you need to change your power box there is a bad connection with the wires. its over heating you might whant to buy another at game stop or take it in to get fixed. the more you messed with it it might mess up your whole system.

Most likely a defective digital module which is part of the light engine and cannot be bought separately. The average cost to replace the light engine assembly is around $800.00.

You have a bad connection on the motherboard somewhere.

Count how many times the red light flashes and how many the green light flashes.If its 1 green and 1 red thats water problems.If 2 flashes of red light check filter is clear and pump is free to turn.

If green and or red lights are flashing while the TV trys to start the lamp is burnt out, time to replace.

Does anything start to work? Any of the three fans start to turn, Lamp ignite, etc., when you press the power button or does nothing happen before the Red LED starts blinking. How many times does the RED LED blink?

Replace Lamp and CK both Fans to make sure they are running.If Fan behind Lamp does not run TV will not light LAMP.

Press and hold the "Device" and "Menu" for 5 seconds and see what code comes up....... 12 No error detected

You will have to reset the lamp timer to resolve the problem.

Consult ypour user's manual on how to do this.
