I have a HP DESKJET F380 ALL IN ONE. IT CAN PRINT SCAN AND PHOTO COPY. I just dont know how to use the scanner, i dont have the instruction manual

can you successfully print a test page? Have you checked to see if you have removed the protective tape from the ink cartridges?

You can download drivers for HP Deskjet F380 for any operating system from the HP Support site:

Click here and select the Operating System you have (e.g. Windows Vista) Click "NEXT" and download the 'Driver-Production Installation software'.

Double-click the Driver File you have downloaded and follow the instructions on the screen. This will install the Printer and scanner drivers/ software.

The HP Deskjet F2400 model printers are All-in-One which will let you Scan/Copy and Print but they do not have the Fax feature.

Hi,
If you want to scan open Microsoft Word and go to Insert -> Picture -> From scanner or camera.
You can do the same with Paint. Go to File->From scanner or camera.
Then you will select your scanner and scan your document or photo.

Do not place any paper on the scanner and open the lid and press scan button and check if the light glows and moves forward and backward. If the light does not glow its a problem with scanner light.

Also try to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

Install the scanner software and configure the tool that when u press scan button that should envoke the scanner software iin the computer

Ensure any program that came with the scanner is installed on the computer and running (open the program).

Not sure what OS you are using, but make sure proper driver are install. Try read below link it might be helpful to resolve your problem

Try to install all of the software with the scan and use that to start your scan. The scan is not communicating to your pc yet.
