Hello try the instructions below, if you do not have gmail or yahoo then you need to find the server info of your email provider or post the name of your email service provider so i can look up their info.

SMTP port: 587
Secure Connection: TLS

Incoming server type: IMAP4
IMAP4 Server: imap.gmail.com

Outgoing(SMTP)
smtp.mail.yahoo.co.XX
Use SSL
Port 465

Yahoo IMAP settings:
Server: imap-ssl.mail.yahoo.com

1. Delete the previously not working Gmail account in your phone
2. Press Menu
3. Select My Accounts
4. Choose the proper type of email account: Do NOT select "Google", but Exchange ActiveSync!
5. On the next screen fill out the Email address:
do not write [email protected], instead use [email protected]!
6. The username will be typed in automatically
7. Type in the password

I am unable to setup my email wizard in my samsung corby

Standard instructions for email inbox setup:

i have finished my corby pro email settings & i can send and recieve emails. the problem with only recieving & not able to send is the confusion between port numbers. in secure connection box three options available ' off ', ' SSL ', ' TLS '. use only SSL or TLS because the port numbers for SSL & TLS differs. just try this & you will be able to send and recieve emails.

                                                    SMTP port - 465

                                                    POP3 port - 995

Enable POP in Gmail. Don't forget to click Save Changes when you're done.Configure your client to match the settings below:Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL:pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS or SSL:smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587
Port for SSL: 465Account Name:your full email address (including @gmail.com or@your_domain.com)Email Address:your email address ([email protected] orusername@your_domain.com)Password:your Gmail password

Unless you're using recent mode to download mail to multiple clients, make sure you've opted not to leave messages on the server. Your Gmail settings determine whether or not messages stay on the server, so this setting in your client won't affect how Gmail handles your mail.

Please note that if your client does not support SMTP authentication, you won't be able to send mail through your client using your Gmail address.

Also, if you're having trouble sending mail but you've confirmed that encyrption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port: 465 or 587.

You're now ready to use POP with your Gmail address.

I can't access my facebook account. I've a new computer and everytime that I try to login, it does not allow, so I had to reset my account all the time, and now I just can't login at all

Please check if you email address is accessible.
Sometimes the cause of unable to access the facebook site is the inaccessibilty of your email address. Please check if there is still a pending confirmation for your email account.
If there is no problem with your email account and you can sign in easily every time you want.. then I think you will need to check latest email you receive.
Because everytime that you change password or setting in facebook... there will be a confirmation mail that will be sending on your email. Open that mail and access the link.. then follow the steps given to you.

Push mail blackberry for samsung sgh i780

Hi, I think that BB email solution is not compatible with your device as BB email is designed for RIM devices. There was support for Nokias earlier devices (E71,E51 etc) but is no longer available. i780 is an WM device so email client is very good, all what you need is a data plan and set up email with built in email client, which support almost all email providers (yahoo,gmail,hotmail,topmail...)

Blackberry push email software

I've been looking into this for the past few minutes.

Even though the BlackBerry Connect software for Windows Mobile, technically, can be installed on any Windows Mobile device, things arenot so simple. RIM has gone into an agreement with device manufacturersand operators to provide the software on WM phones. If Samsung doesn't have that agreement with RIM, they do not have to helpyou set up your BlackBerry account on your i780.

What's more, the software itself may be designed only for certainmodels, and downloading the files from their site may notwork for your i780 at all even if you are able to install it.

So unless you find a workaround, you may have to stick to yourold BlackBerry messaging device. If you feel strongly about it, youshould send Samsung an email to ask if it will be support BlackBerryConnect anytime soon.

If you'd like to give it a whirl, head over to http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/ and start downloading their software.
