Hosseinhi, 32 inch lg hd tv, sometimes it works other times when i try to turn it on the red light on the front pannels does a slow flash a couple of times then it goes blue but nothing on the tv screen. i am a technitian so if you could indicate the most likely cause of this i would be greatfull kind rgds

also, do you have 24v coming out of the power supply going to the backlight inverter? also, do you have 24v coming out of the power supply going to the backlight inverter?

You have to options for this issue:

One: you could be missing an important fuse on backlight inverter. When the tv is responsive but no image is shown this is directly tied to the backlight inverter.

Two: A CCFL bulb in series has failed (internal on panel). If one bulb is going out, the tv will light for short periods of time and then the bulb fails and turns off the series, hence no illumination.

You can try a backlight inverter replacement (much easier), and if it doesn't fix the problem you can send it back to the place of purchase. If it indeed doesn't work, you know that a CCFL bulb is faulty and you will need to take apart the panel to view these (much more difficult).

If you HAVE to go the CCFL direction, you will need to expose the CCFL bulbs, power up the tv, and view it until it goes out (you will see the faulty bulb go out a second before the rest of the series).
