How do i solve problem of power save mode?

that typically means there is no signal coming in to the monitor. You could have a defective dvi cable or dvi port. Try another PC with DVI output and see if it works. If SO, you have a bad dvi port on the pc. If NOT, try another cable. If you tried another cable and it still fails, you could have a bad screen. Check your warranty coverage if it is bad to see if you can get it replaced.

Power Saving Mode problem using the DVI input. VGA input Ok.

try the display on another computer, if the display does the same thing on another machine, then its definitely a problem in the display not in the computer drivers or bios.

Have a Dell E228WFP monitor keeps going into power save mode.

does it go into power save mode with your actually doing something. Like for instance if your typing does it go into power save mode? If its going into power save mode when your not doing anything on it then its as simple as a setting either on the monitor itself or in the power settings within your computer accessible by the control panel and screensaver

LG w2361vg sometimes get stuck in DVI Power Saving Mode

Maybe you can update your video card driver. My wife notebook is connected at times to my DELL17" flat screen and ever so often it cuts off in the middle of something. I update the video driver and reset the monitor to factory settings and it's working like a dream.
I suggest, you use the menu buttons on the LCD and reset it ot factory settings, and possibly update your video card.

Monitor goes to power save mode on startup

Sounds like a bad video card (if embeded "built in") then you need a new mother board

No display.

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/monitors/2005FPW/En/setup.htm#Using%20the%20OSD

Make sure the proper input is selected

1: D-SUB for Blue VGA cable
2: DVI-D for White DVI cable

The option selected should be indicated on the power save screen.

If changing the input select and rebooting the computer have no effect an no video from the computer is ever displayed, then the monitor is in need of repair.
