55" is large enough for In-Home service via Best Buy's Geek Squad.. never take a TV larger than 37" back into the store, they will make you schedule an in home appointment, even smaller for older models. Contact Dynex and they will transfer you directly to the Geek Squad after some basic troubleshooting. The service is free as long as your still under the 1 year warranty.

Last night the tv was fine i turned it on this

Unplug 20 minutes. Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the set.

Try with the original manufacturer remote to view setup menu.

Power outages come at night. This sometimes resets the TV and other devices. .

Tv wont turn on worked fine last night

If there is no power at all, then the problem is likely the power supply unit.
The PSU must be tested, then eventually replaced.

Power button is green - no blinks / no picture / no sound

Unplug it from the wall, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in. if problem still exists, its probably the main pcb.
