Bosch exxcel washing machine/dryer

Is it waiting to heat up? Try it on a spin cycle and see if it stops. If not, it may be a thermostat fault or heater element not working. Worst case may be timer faulty

My little boy put my bosch exxcel washer/dryer on to dry for 2hours and then switched it to drain and then turned it off, now its stuck halfway through drain and the door wont open.

i have never worked on this type of washer dryer combo, but just from experience if a washer will not unlock and it keeps trying to drain it is either there is enough water in the unit to trip the pressure switch and the pump keeps trying to drain, means there is a blockage normally in the pump, blocking the pump, or blocking the pressure switch tube. clean these out and unit should work fine. if you arnt tech savvy , call a professional and be prepared to pay.

How can I turn off the beep sound on my exxcel

I've just found my instruction manual and managed to turn the volume off on mine after 6 months of annoying beeping.
You turn the programme selector to off then turn it one programme to the right, press the rpm button and keep it pressed while turning one more programme to the right, release them both and a number should be displayed on screen I think volume 2 is the default one. You then click the "ready in" button until desired volume is reached. You have a chioce of zero through to four. After volume is set turn programme selector to off position. The annoying beep should be no more!! Hope this helps others.

Bosch 1400 exxcel

The machine thinks the drain is blocked.. check the pump and outlet pipe for buildup of dirt.

I noticed holding start down for several seconds whilst powering the machine on, then turning it off / then on again would clear the machine's idea of where it was during a program. Does this affect the error code you're seeing?

take the lint screen out and clean it with a toothbrush and warm soapy water. You may be using too much softner. If that doesnt work, the control board may be bad.
