Hi, are you sure your pump is operating properly any little thing caught in the impeller will stop these pumps. You also say there water still in the tub it will definitely not spin fast with water in the tub. Remove the pump and inspect the impeller sometimes there are things caught in it and other times the vanes are broken right off.

Model fwt645rhso will agitate but won't drain out, on spin cycle washer spins one way, stops goes back the other way, but water will not drain out. Does not rapidly spin on final cycle. Any...

There's an auxiliary switch in the door lock.switch assembly that is activated at the end of the wash cycle for the machine to advance to the spin cycle. The machine will NEVER advance to the spin cycle unless the auxiliary switch is activated as a safety feature to prevent the door from opening during a high-speed spin cycle that may result in physical injury. The drum tumbles back and forth while the machine control checks the auxiliary if activated but since it's not, the control will not command the motor speed control to spin the drum at high speed. These symptoms may indicate a faulty door lock/switch assembly and may need replacement. Click on the links below for the detailed troubleshooting instructions and replacement of the door lock/switch assembly.

FRIGDAIRE FRONT LOAD WASHER MODEL GLTF1240ASO DOES NOT GO TO HIGH SPEED SPIN . I CHECKED DRAIN PUMP REPLACED DOOR SWITCH AND REPLACED SPEED BOARD

Hi, Welcome to FixYa.

Sorry to hear you've had some much trouble remedying your washer. It sound like you've tried ALL the usual suspects, however it can be a bad connection at the timer or pressure switch as well.

See below for examples...the white connection will be the one to inspect...

macmarkus_557.jpg

if it's loose as shown, push it into place until it's secure, like here...
macmarkus_561.jpg

NOTE; Usually if the connection at the timer is loose it will simply require being secured...but the timer may be faulty as well.

The other thing I alluded to is to insure all the wires on the pressure switch are fastened and secure...this can and does prevent spinning as well. It is located under the top along the cross member as shown in this illustration...

Let me know how you make out. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck. Please take a moment to rate the info provided for you here today at FixYa.

My fridaire front load washer will not spin at high speed

HI. Your unit is equipped with a Motor Speed Control Board. This board regulates the spin speed, with the help of a tachometer, which, is located and mounted on the motor. When this Control board is experiencing issues, the spin will not preform at optimal performance. I recommend to replace this Motor Control Board asap. Once replaced, the unit will spin properly.

replace the control panel or have it repaired, there is no e20 listed as a trouble code,so it needs to be replaced.

  • Turn the program knob clockwise 9 clicks from the Start Position. The control will signal the last error code.

Washer won't spin

Did you check that the door lock switch is working?
See this thread:

If it's not the door-lock switch, you need a new speed control board.

Doesn't spin the clothes dry on the final spin but spins at high revolutions without a load of clothes

I have read that if the pump is not draining the tub completely, there is an interlock that prevents the high speed spin from engagin. I have had debris caught in my pump several times (kids!!) with similar issues. There is a trap on the line leading from the tub to the pump which is "supposed" to capture debris, but it doesn't work all that well. Check your pump.....

Front load washer wont spin

yes. the solinoid or wax motor (depending on which switch you have) has fail and is not telling control that the door is locked. replacing the switch will fix it
