Bit the bullet and stripped out the covers from the unit so as to observe where the leak was coming from. Ran m/c on a basic quick wash (be careful, exposed live electrical terminals!!!) and noticed that water came from the detergent drawer for a second or two.
Stripped out detergent drawer housing and found that the large discharge pipe underneath was very blocked with black/white residue. Presume that this had been dislodged from the walls of the pipework during the house move.Removed residue and reassembled unit & ran, OK.
Saved myself £100 call out. Give Miele their due though, the documentation suggests that if you habitually wash at a low temperature, which we do, you should occasionally run a 95degree wash. My wife was very surprised when I asked her if she did this.
SOURCE: Kenmore 80 - water leak not from hoses - could it be the pump?
Hi Gleen you probably need to remove the rear cover to expose the in side of machine.
Note if you could post a model number I could tell you for sure what would be the best way get to the pump.

Replace the valve, or if new, have them do it. You are sure it is the valve and not where the hot warter hose attaches? Confirm by hooking up hot water under preasure to see if that seals itself.

Check the mix valve area where the water enters the machine, during the fill.
