OK, on the first original charge that is required when you first purchased this unit, it can charge for at least 8 to 10 hours. this is called a set up charge.
After the first original charge, it is recommended to not charge over the set amount of time given by the actual cell unit. your phone will beep or, display a completed charge message after the charge has been completed successfully. if you go over the set charge, this can damage most cell battery's.
Standard charge time after the original set charge is 2 hours.
