How long have you had this router for.
What user name and password are you using.
Default IP address of CWR-854 is 192.168.1.254,
    username: root
    password: 1234

By any chance is there a ip address on the bottom of the router?
If not, most routers I seen have a factory reset button on the back,
Get a paper clip, use the metal, no plastic and find the hole and push in the paper clip for about 1-3 minutes to rest back. try again to access the default website to the router. This should fix it, but maybe not.

How to use my Cnet CWR-854 Router as a wirerless antenna for pc.

You can't really use a router to connect to another router, you can sometimes use them as an "Extender" for range, but not as a WiFi card, they simply aren't made to operate that way.

The internet connection has a security that's why you can't access the internet. The only thing you have to do is to know the wpa password of the router.

This router has a default username and password to configure all the settings. This is the manual for Cnet CWR-854 Router:

http://www.cnetusa.com/eng/Manuals/Wireless/CWR-854/CWR-854%20ver%20F%20User%20Guide.pdf

It seems that the router is already configured by an authorized person, the best thing you should do is contact the authorized person that knows everything about the router.

No access to web based utilty

Seems like you need to verify that the web management interface is at the address your specified or that your PC is indeed wirelessly connected to the CWR-854.

The following suggestions assume you use Windows XP as your OS:
  1. You need to connect to the CWR-854 via a network cable (one end connected to your PC the other to a LAN port on the CWR-854) initially.
  2. You can try to access the web management interface at the IP address you expect, i.e. 192.168.1.1 or you can verify the IP address by finding the Default Gateway your PC is issued by the CWR-854 from:
  • Right clicking on the tray icon of the network connection, choose "Status" then click on the "Support" tab to see the Default Gateway.
  • OR click on "Start" then "Run...", type "cmd" then type "ipconfig" and read the Default Gateway value under the section for the "Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection".
Use the Default Gateway value as the new address to use for the web based utility if it differs from what you expected.
