You need to replace that water pump and do it SOON. If you let this go, it is going to eventually short out that pump motor and take the expensive machine control along with it. The part you need is a 420325P and you can get one from Fisher Paykel Parts:

Both of you most likely are getting a "RPS Sensor Fault"
On a GWL10, when the motor rotor position sensor fails, it will act exactly like you describe. Many techs incorrectly replace the machine control or the water inlet valve(s). The RPS sensor is much cheaper. If you consult the tech sheet located under the control panel, you will see the fault code for RPS failure and I would bet the farm that the sequence of LEDs displayed when your washer faults out matches exactly with the RPS fault code.

The RPS sensor for GWL10 and GWL11 models is a part # 420296P and canbe purchased direct from Fisher Paykel Parts:

ck to see that a control lock light is not illuminated, as far as fisher and paykel pressure swithc is part of motor controller under main console. removing screws behind console allows you access and from ther i would remove clear plastic tubing from right side of control and blow down the line (sometimes detergent will block other end not allowing proper readings)
