Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
1. Put the SD card into the computers cardreader. 2. Connect the camera through USB with the computer . 3. Copy the pictures.
If you have trouble with the SD card: 1. Copy all the pictures to the computer. 2. Format the sd card in the camera. 3. Copy the pictures back onto the sd card.
The pictures are in the internal memory? If so you need to purchase a memory card for that camera and transfer the internal memory pictures to the memory card and then you will be able to download them to the computer. When you remove the card, the camera is using its built-in internal memory which is very small and won't hold many pictures. Does your card have a slide switch on the side? If so, it should be in the unlocked position.

If I remember my last Olympus camera it would only work in Panorama mode with an official Olympus memory card. No third party cards would enable that feature. My instructions read "An Olympus xD-Picture Card is
required for panorama shooting." If you are using an official Olympus xD-Picture card, there may be a problem with your camera.
