:6.1 Phone Settings
6.1.1 Date & time
1. Set time: Set the time of your phone.
2. Set date: Set the date of your phone.
3. Time format: Select from 12 hours or 24 hours format.
4. Date format: Select from [Year-Mon-Day] or [Mon-Day-Year] or [Day-Mon-Year]
5. Update time settings: Set your time to [Auto update time] or [Manual update time]
time and date should automaticaly reset but if it doesnt try this. With the phone turned on remove the battery for about 30 to 60 sec. then put battery back in and turn phone on it should have reset the time and date. Doing this worked on my wifes phone hopefully it will work 4 yours.
This must be done on the phone system as the administrator. For 6.0 software go to System-wide settings, set date and time, and you can set it there. For 5.0 and older, go to Tab to it, System configuration, system settings, date and time. Once the time has been set on the phone system the date is updated instantly on the phones (even before your browser finished loading the next page).
On the main menu select Settings, then Time & Date.
Set Time zone updating to Manual.
Then SCROLL down i.e. drag the menu upwards (this is the bit that many don't realise.)
Then you will be able to set the time & date.
Select Menu > Settings > Date and time. Select Date and
time settings to set the date and time. Select Date and
time format settings to set the formats for date and time.
Select Auto-update of date & time (network service) to set
the phone to update the time and date automatically
according to the current time zone.
Hope it helped...
