Re: We can find any information for the transfer roller...
No, your machine is not obsolete. You're probably not finding anything on the transfer roller because it is really part of the transfer unit (part# 675K47088 ) The transfer unit contains the transfer belt and roller. Here is a video that shows you how to replace it.

Here is the 8250 service manual. Page 8-4 begins its replacement of the transfer roller. I must assume you do not have a service contract with Xerox elsewise you would be making uus of such. It is unclear whether or not you initially received a 'replace transfer roller" message or what subsequent message you may have received upon a replacement transfer roller being rejected. Perhaps it was simply a repeated assertion to replace the transfer roller. You have indicated being stuck in a diagnostic phase. That would seem to call for a printer reset which includes a power recycling. You might clean the sensors if you keep getting a "replace the transfer roller" message. https://www.fixya.com/support/t127026-phaser_6250_transfer_roller

I have a XEROX 6200 Printer. I tried to do the solutions above, but I
did not have those options in the Maintenance Menu. I pulled out the
Transfer Roller Unit and opened up the two screws on top. When I pulled
the top, it was loaded with toner. I poured out all that toner in the
trash and blew out the rest with a air gun till it was clean. Be careful
of the two white gears on the side, when you take off the top. You
don't want to lose them. Anyhow, I reassembled the unit back and stuck
it back into the printer and the error message was gone. Yeayyyyyyyyy!

Solution: Replace the Transfer Roller
Make PrintableE-mail this pageCAUTION: Do not touch the surface of the Transfer Roller as fingerprints can cause image quality problems.
Push up the latch on the front of the printer to open Door A.
Squeeze the orange tabs on both sides of the Transfer Roller together, and gently lift the roller out of the printer. Dispose of the old roller as normal office waste.
Remove the new Transfer Roller from its packaging.
Grasp the posts on each side of the roller and insert the posts into the u-shaped guides inside the printer.
Push down on the base of the orange tabs until you hear a click to lock the roller into position.
Close Door A.
Looks like Roller should be detected and message should go away after you replace it.
In the Phaser 6250 Color Laser Printer Service Manual (which I had to have emailed to me from my toner supplier since it is not available to the general public) I went to Chapter 6 - Error Messages and Codes. I had to reboot the printer. Here is the procedure.
Entering by rebooting the printer:
1. Turn the printer power OFF
2. Hold down the Back and Information buttons simutaneously and turn the printer
back on.
3. Continue to hold the buttons until the following message is displayed on the front
panel: Service Diagnostics V#.##, Initializing ....., and then release the buttons.
4. The front panel displays the Service Diagnostics Menu.
On the display is a menu. Find Transfer Roller. Press enter on this menu where it says Toner Waste (Not Full). Back out of the menu.
All of a sudden the machine came to life. You may have to turn off the printer and turn it back on again.
Transfer Roller is at End of Life
■ Print the Supplies Usage page to verify the remaining life and Transfer
Roller install date.
■ Cycle printer power.
■ If the problem persists, follow the procedure below
Note
Look at the clear plastic window on the Transfer Roller. If toner is present in the
center of the window the Transfer Roller is at end of life and needs to be
replaced. If no toner is visible, try cleaning the CTD (ADC) Sensor.
The “Transfer Roller is at End of Life” is a warning. “Replace Transfer Roller” is
a hard stop.
