I don't know if this actually will fix your problem, but all LCM 22w2's are plagued with the 'white screen of death' and eventual power shutoff, including garbage characters and faulty menu, video output, etc. Here's how I fixed it.
The Westinghouse LCM 22w2 has bad capacitors on the yellow power supplyboard. This is a common problem plaguing motherboards and LCDflatpanels that use capacitors from Taiwan. If you know how to solder,or know somebody that can, it's actually a pretty easy fix. Take outthe yellow circuit board on the inside, write down the specificationsfor each of the capacitors (the cylindrical things) go to theelectronics supply store and get the replacement capacitors. You can goover the voltage specification (not under), but keep the capacitancevalue matching. Replace one at a time. Go to www.badcaps.net foradvice, tutorials and training on doing this. *You really shouldreplace all the capacitors*, but the very large one next to the powerplug I did leave on the board because I couldn't find a match. To mydelight, the white screen of death went away and it was working as new!
I saved a ton of money fixing this, it's definitely worth learning how to solder to do this.
