don't know if you solved this, but we had a similar situation.
Leave the machine off until all the ice melts off the cups.
You need to take off the front cover and adjust the sizing down a good quarter turn. Let it start making ice and make sure all the ice drops. If it doesn't size it down more. If it all drops and the ice is too thin, turn it up VERY little (2° or so). Keep adjusting until you get the size you want but still get all the ice to drop.
FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND IS THE FRIDGE IS MAKING ICE BUT JUST NOT MAKING VERY OFTEN.THE PROBLEM COULD LIE WITH THE ICE MAKER AS YOU SAY THE ICE IC CLOGGING UP THAT COULD MEAN THAT THE ELEMENT IS NOT SEMI MELTING IT FOR IT TO DROP INTO THE HOPPER.BEST YOU HAVE A TECH SERVICE AND REPAIR THE ICE MAKER.
hi thanks for the question probably have a problem with ice maker the timer in ice maker is not advancing to the drop off cycle need a new ice maker thanks the appliance doc
