HELP I tried to reset my bosch exxcel srs45e32gb/09 following the instructions now i get 18 come on the time panel. i reset it, it goes to 0 i switch off (also at mains) and when i switch back on it still saying 18 in the panel also every one of the lights are on. I let it run for the 18 and it still comes on 18. also P1,2,3,4, comes on depending which button i press. any ideas what else i could try?

if it hums when you are in the wash phase then something is jamming the wash impeller like broken glass tooth pick found a necklace in one one time i think replacing the control board fixed the other problems on most washers the drain pump is separate from the wash motor haven't worked on bosch so not sure take off the lower spray arm and go down till you get to the impeller then do what you have to do clear it or replace wash motor

To reset the board so as the times will go back to factory settings.
Turn appliance on press both buttons that have the two dots under, the display will then go back to zero. Shut the door and allow appliance to reset itself. This normally takes about a minute, whilst it's doing this the pump will be running.

Obviously a faulty connection. Lots of switching off and on and holding down the buttons eventually sorted it!
