Have you tried checking the fuse or the circuit breaker? Are both the washer and dryersharing the same two outlet duplex outlet or are they on two totally separate outlets? Just to eliminate/isolate the outlet question after you check the circuit breakers or fuses in your fuse box, try plugging the dryer into a separate outlet. If like many people you do not have an extra outlet in your laundry area, try plugging another item into the dryer outlet to check it for power. This is if you are talking about a gas dryer that works on a 120-volt electrical outlet. If it is an electric dryer it will be on a 230-240 volt outlet with a special plug. If you have an old circuit panel that is still using fuses as opposed to modern circuit breakers and if this Is an electric dryer, you would have a 240 volt disconnect plug more than likely inside the panel and if you firmly grab the handle and yank it straight out, you will see that the disconnect plug will have two short cigar shaped Buss Fuses in it. If this is the case one or more of those fuses could be blown. Depending on the electrical requirements of the dryer those two fuses amy need to be between 20-30Amp rated. or else if you have the manual take a look in it , perhaps one of the fuses is gone .

The remaining programme sequence for draining the residual water takes approx. 1 minute.

How do I fix this problem: The OK light flashes. The washing machine worked for an hour but then this problem happened.

Obviously, an alarm is displayed after some time.
The alarm is displayed by a repeated flashing sequence of the START / PAUSE button with yellow and red light (0,5 seconds on, 0,5 seconds off with a 2,5 second pause between the sequences).
• button indicator START / PAUSE with yellow light indicates the first digit of the alarm code (family)
• button indicator START / PAUSE with red light indicates the second digit of the alarm code (internal number of the family).

I have a Pentair Minimax NT 250k electronic heater. Turned the heater on today and it does not get through startup sequence. It flashes - - -, then flashes 888 (with red service light), then back to - -...

I would say the problem is the thermistor. The board will light up, the SW switch is green, but you get a display that flashes dashed lines and then what looks like 888. That is a start up code. The thermistor is located on the side where the water enters the heater. There are two screws at the top of the side panel. Undo the screws and lift the panel off. The thermistor is a probe with 2 small wires coming out and lead to the control panel. It is a very simple fix and is usually the problem if you have not experienced any other issues. The part runs between 30 and 45 dollars. Most pool stores would carry this.
thanks let me know if that fixed the problem

I have mfc 290 c all in one problem t gives error no 46 what i cando tell me please

This is caused by the performed purge sequences reaching its limit. To reset the counter, press menu then press *2864 within 2 seconds ("maint" should be on the display and all the lights should be flashing, if not try again), then press 80, then keep pressing black/mono start button until screen displays "purge count", press 2783 to reset purge count, then press stop/exit key, then press 99.

My playstation 3 console wont turn , when i try to it stops and a blue then yellow light flashes , what can i do to fix this.

source: http://www.edepot.com/playstation3.html#PS3_Model_Differences Yellow Light of DeathThe "Yellow Light of Death" or YLOD is the common phrase people use to describe the following sequence when they try to turn on their PS3:

  • Press Power Button
  • Red Light Flashes Three Times
  • Yellow Light Flashes
  • Green Light Flashes
  • Beeps Three Times
  • Red Light Flashes

The sequence above may vary a bit but you do see the flashing yellow light (sometimes shows up as orange) that normally you would not see when operating your PS3. The YLOD is a general hardware fault that can mean a lot of things. However, one of the problems is cracked solder that leads the PS3 to think one of its internal chips is not connected or is broken somehow. Cracked solder can happen when the chips get too hot (RSX most likely) and leads the motherboard to start bending, which may crack the solder. Changing the power supply (lower the average wattage going to the chips to lower the heat) and better thermal compound (heat dissipates faster to the heatsink) may prevent this error from occurring. However, if your PS3 has already had the YLOD, then you can reflow your motherboard every few months to keep it working (but it is not a permanent fix as the YLOD usually comes back).

My display keeps shutting off five minutes after starting to watch TV- the sound continues, but the screen is black and the red warning light flashes

Hi,

Please check the sequence in which your warning light flashes.

I will tell you what might be the problem according to the fashing of warning light,
If,

Flashing repeatedly --- Improper voltage supply
Flashing once --- Malfunctioning of fan
Flashing twice ---excessive temperature
Flashing 3 time or more--other problem

When flashing occurs please remove the power cord from receptacle and inform your dealer about the flashing sequence.

Thanx
