Well I'll just say it's the kaputnick gate valve located at the whirlpool headquarters since no-one else seems to have the same explanation for a single error code

SOURCE: Kenmore HE2t washer - error code 5d

5d is a definitely a the code for a plugged discharge. We removed the lower access panel and discovered a virtual treasure: $12.50 in quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies, a pen, a pencil, collar stays, 10 bobby-pins, 3 barrettes, a elastic headband, a draw string, a box cutter, 3 washers, 3 broken zipper parts, a elastic waist band. Amazing it took all to trigger a 5d error code. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Whirlpool duet front load washer flashes F35 shortly after start

Sud= The unit has sensed there is too many suds in the unit it will flush and pump out for 5 min and restart on its own..This is caused by too much soap use..
From the book :
SUD Code=
If too much detergent was used:
—Run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle.
—Run a Normal cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged
or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump,
pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Check drain pump.
7. Check the pressure switch.
8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any
cycle.

I have a whirlpool duet front load washer with error code E02 F01.

According to https://www.justanswer.com/appliance/7w4q8-f01-e02-error-code-showing-whirlpool-front.html, it indicates that the controller isn't getting readings from drum tachometer. Could possibly be loose wire. Replacement parts said to be $200, so may not be worth buying.

you might be able to sell to someone willing to diagnose & fix.

Whirlpool washer f08 e02

An F08 E02 error is a dispenser motor error on many Whirlpool washers. This could be due to dried detergent clogging the dispenser. Take the dispenser out and clean it following the directions in your manual. (Add a comment with the model number if you need a link to the manual. Most Whirlpool manuals are available on their support page: http://www.whirlpool.com/manuals/ .)

If that doesn't fix the problem or is only a temporary fix, the dispenser motor/switch may be faulty or the linkage between the motor and the dispenser may be blocked from moving freely. Alternatively the wiring may have a problem with a conductor in the wiring harness. Inside the top panel of the washer is usually a guide for checking the error. (The back panel has to be removed to get to the top panel and this information.)

I hope this helps.

Washer will not run

f06 OR e02 error code means you have an interface communication error. the main control board isn't communicating with the front interface control board. if you pull the washer out and remove the 3 screws coming in from the back of the top panel. the top panel will pull straight back, up, and off. check all the wire connections between the two control board and make sure they are all secure. if everything looks good, then the interface control board may need to be replaced.
f01 e02 means that your motor control board is not reading the tachometer on your motor when it tries to turn the motor. it thinks that the motor is struggling. open the door and turn the basket to make sure it spins freely.

f08 e03 error codeF8E2 is DISPENSER SYSTEM ERROR - Dispenser motor is unable to reach the desired position. Possible causes: Check the mechanical linkage from the dispensor motor to top of dispenser. See TEST #12 (Dispensor Distribution System) on page 21. Someone else can post to contents of Page 21. Good luck.

Yes, it is a dispenser system error. The technician manual says to check the mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to top of dispenser.

However, in my case this page from whirlpool was helpful:
https://www.whirlpool.com/product-he...r-code/PH5260/

It says a common solution for this error (f8 e2) is:
The detergent drawer or detergent cartridge might be clogged with detergent. Clean out the detergent cartridge per Use and Care Instructions.
If cleaning the detergent cartridge did not correct the problem, please contact us.
For any additional questions, please call our Customer eXperience Center toll-free at 1-866-698-2538, Monday through Friday 8AM-8PM Eastern Standard Time.
You will be asked to provide the model and serial number which is found on the front door rim after opening the door.

So I washed out my dispenser and now it's working again.

F06, E02

I think these problems are related to water inlet, take off the hoses from the back of washer and you will find a screen in the outlets clean with old tooth brush until clear.

Error code F01 E02

For how long did you unplug the power cord? If it was under 5 minutes, unplug it for longer. Check if that clears the error code. If it doesn't, the motor control unit needs to be replaced.

Please double check your model number to get the correct part. Most of the Whirlpool washers have model numbers that start with 3 letters.

I hope this helps.
