You can download the drivers and full software from the Canon site for supported OS versions. Go to http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp280#DriversAndSoftware and select your OS. Install the software and then connect your printer when the program prompts you to do so.
Make sure to get the MP Navigator EX if you plan to launch scans from the all-in-one. Please note that the downloads do not include any third party software that was on the CD.
