Are there any lights working on it at all, or anything to indicate it is receiving juice?Could be a faulty power supply.

on the left you'll see "Desktop" then under that "Barebones" then scroll down in the middle to "Pundit" and you'll see the models on the right - select which ever is yours and it will take you to all the drivers and support.
They should _push_ the HOT air "out" of the inside of the case.
A fan at the FRONT of a case should _pull_ air into the case.
The fan inside the power-supply always _pushes_ hot air out of the interior.
The little green light is telling you that there is power to the Motherboard (MB) I would reset the CMOS on the Motherboard...boot into the BIOS to check that the hard drive is seen by the PC.and go from there...
Here is a link to the Asus Manual which shows you how to Clear the CLRTC..(CMOS) Look for section 4.3 on Jumpers.Clearing the memory built into the MB just sets it back to the defaults so dont worry about hurting anything while you perform this task...I can also tell you that When you clear this that there is no bells or whistles clashing cymbals or otherwise signal that tells you you have accomplished the task...you have to have faith that its done...Simply move the plastic jumper to the prescribed location and count to three then move it back to its original location...Secondly these parts are small and the writing on the MB is smaller so sometimes a magnifying glass is essential...Let me know how it works for you..

Asus also has the Recover Pro utility which is an always available recovery tool. It stores user data,
applications and the operating system in the host-protected area of the
hard drive. Users can easily recover system to their original factory
conditions or to a more recent state without restore CDs. No need to
worry about losing data due to virus attacks.
