Hope it will help you, you may have problem with power supply and inverter area. low rated and leak capacitors can cause low output voltage on the power supply the tendency is the power to reset or turn off itself. just also considered bad component at inverter area, faulty connector and back light good luck.

It is possible that there has been an internal power supply failure. The red indicator merely means power is getting to the TV.

I have a sharp aquos lc-c4677un its not turning on at all now. When I push the power botton on the tv, the power light turns on and about 2-3sec the power and opc light start to blink and thats about it.

How are the power and opc lights blinking? Do they blink simultaneously or does one blink then the other? How many time do they blink per second? Also have you had it fixed yet? and if so what was done? I had a similar problem with my set.

The power supply is going bad and should be replaced but for the cost you will pay for the repair you can buy a new TV. Get the extended warranty, it will pay for itself.

TV will not stay on

Sounds like you have a lamp error. Most likey there is something wrong with one of the lamps in the LCD itself, or you have a defective inverter.
