The SK-32H240S has two sets of mounting holes 75mm x 75mm VESA or 100mm x 100mm VESA mounts.

This model has what are called a LIPS board in it which is a board that has both the power supply and the inverter on the same board. What you need to do is replace this part and your TV will be as good as new. To obtain this board simply email [email protected] and they will let you know price and availability of this board. Their isnt any as a matter of Fact westinghouse does not have replacement Display Panels there for making them Non repairable.

They are now sending me a new TV

This is a Backlight Bulb or Inverter (power supply for backlight) failure.
If in warranty, take it to service
You can try to order an Inverter, or if needed you can get a replacement bulb (not easily available)

I don't have DTV anymore, so I don't remember the exact code I used for my SK-32H240S, However, I do remember that I found one that worked at this site. Scroll down to locate your remote series # - it most likely will be printed on the upper left corner of the front of the remote - as an example, mine says RC64. Click on the corresponding listing, then follow the directions on the site. I tried only a few codes before finding one that worked correctly. Good luck.
