Riso I have a Riso GR1700. It no longer picks up the original paper you are trying to copy to make a master.I can manually place the original copy I am trying to copy under the cover and the machine will then pick up the original and make a copy. What must I do to correct the problem in the first step of this procedure? Thanks, Tim [email protected]

P-01 -520 error code for Riso CZ100

The P-01-520 error code on a Riso CZ100 indicates a problem related to the master removal detection sensor. This error often occurs when the machine is unable to detect the removal of the master (printing stencil) after a certain period. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. **Check the Master Removal Area:**
Ensure that there are no obstructions or jams in the area where the master is removed after printing. Make sure the path is clear, and there is no paper or other debris hindering the operation.
2. **Inspect the Master Removal Sensor:**
The P-01-520 error is related to the master removal detection sensor. Inspect the sensor for any visible damage or misalignment. It's typically a small optical sensor located in the master removal area. Clean the sensor carefully with a soft, lint-free cloth.
3. **Check for Broken Parts:**
Inspect the master removal area for any broken or damaged parts, such as gears, levers, or switches. If any part is broken, it may need to be replaced.
4. **Reset the Machine:**
Try resetting the machine by turning it off, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. Power the machine back on and check if the error persists.
5. **Update Firmware (if applicable):**
Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Riso CZ100. Updating the firmware may address certain issues. Refer to the user manual or contact Riso support for information on how to update the firmware.
6. **Contact Riso Support:**
If the issue persists after attempting the above steps, it's recommended to contact Riso technical support or your local authorized service provider. They can provide more detailed guidance, and if necessary, schedule a service technician to inspect and repair the machine.
Always follow the recommended procedures outlined in the user manual for your specific Riso CZ100 model when troubleshooting or performing maintenance. If you don't have the manual, you may be able to find it on the Riso website or by contacting their customer support.

A17-209 error message

A-17-209 is a cutter error meaning the cutter is not at home position when master material is in place. The cutter can be manually slide towards front of machine or another way is to rerolled master paper back on to its roll and close the clamp. This will cause the cutter, if operational, to re-home itself correctly. There are test codes to operate cutter to check it (480).

Can you use Riso GR1700 drums in a GR2700 or GR2710 machine? If so, is the ink also interchangeable?

The masters and ink should work. Cannot remember if the drum does. Put in the duplicator it will either fit or it won't. It will not damage the machine unless you try to force it in. If compatible it will slide right in and the machine will recognize it when you close the front door.

The riso rz 390 ui does not print the scans complete

Please check the setting of paper size. It may be set to a smaller format and therefore the outer original area is not transferred to the master.

Film is separated from ink roller. How do we fix? Master copy not printing.

Seems that you have mismatched the sides of the master. Are you sure you placed the master correctly? An original Riso master should have a text at the side of the roll to show where the coloured flange should be.

Code D-17-236 The Riso just stop working, Why?

A D17 is incorrect master roll installed. This could be caused by a) it IS the incorrect master roll, or b) the RF tag that is inside the master roll has gone bad. Try a new one in the original packaging to help with diagnoses. Make sure they are RISO Z type master rolls specific for an RZ220.

Diffrent picture between the original document and master picture

You have to go to your page setup and set for the size you are printing. Also you have to go to the machine and look at the size the paper setting is at.. they have to match.. You may be printing 11 x 17 when the paper setting on the machine are letter.. This will do this...cause the machine will auto adjust to fit onto the settings on the machine.

E11 on riso gr 1700

When machine displayed E-11 it’s interrupted the operation.
Its means Pressure Control Motor Lock –
If the Pressure centering sensor does not detected on & off within 5 seconds from the start of the machine.

This problem is the engine of pressure, this is located by uncovering the back, more or less in the middle and bottom, there is a small motor that is attached by screw(s). When the machine is turned on its intial position should be detected and if not , the sensor can be bad or the starting position is dirty or broken cable, or motor cables are bad, inspect them, reset the code and turn the machine off and back on.
