Cant download Lexmark x1250 with VISTA

Before you download and install the Lexmark P4350 driver on your computer, please check if your Vista is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system. Go to Start menu -> right-click on Computer -> Properties. Take note of the system type.

Please make sure that the printer is actually VISTA compatible (it should say it on the box) If it is compatible then there is a good chance that the drivers need to be updated. (even if you just bought it) Your first option would be to download the driver directly from Lexmark.com (forget the CD that came with it) Your other option is to download the drivers for LEXMARK X1250 (I have tried this many times with other printers and they worked just fine) I have also used these two web sites to download the drivers for other printers and it seems to work ok so far. I suggest emailing lexmark and telling them u need a disc for a Lexmark X2550 printer. Maybe tell em yours didnt come with one when u bought it and be firm...or you can continue to try and download it from the internet.

The link above is the driver for that printer. Download that driver and then install it. Once you install it, the computer should recognize it.

Sorry but you cannot use the vista driver of Lexmark x1250 to work with Lexmark X125 since they are not the same type of printer and you're correct that this Lexmark X125 don't have any vista driver because Lexmark didn't make any vista driver for some of there ol printer like Lexmark X125...

Yes works with Vista but you will need to use Vista driver not XP
